The Behavioral Health and Homelessness Statewide Unified Response Group (BHHSURG) is a joint initiative between the Governor’s Coordinator on Homelessness, Department of Human Services – Homeless Programs Office, and the Department of Health – Behavioral Health Administration to streamline information and resources to providers related to the COVID-19 pandemic response.

The BHHSURG included weekly webinars every Monday at 12 p.m. HST regarding updates related to COVID-19 or topics relevant to providers during the pandemic.   A list of weekly webinar topics, including recordings and written materials can be found online.  As of December 31, 2020, the webinars will transition to a monthly basis moving forward.

Providers can also request Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by making a request through the Community Resilience Hubs.   Requests for supplies will be prioritized and will be distributed based on the availability of donations received.

The BHHSURG website also includes helpful information regarding COVID-19 screening tools, a PPE Decision Tree, a Telehealth Decision Tree, Reopening Guidelines for BHH Providers, and more.

Providers or community members may also submit a question through the BHHSURG site and questions will be received and responded to by appropriate BHHSURG team members.
