Hawaii passed Act 310 into law in 2022 with the aim of decreasing source of income discrimination against people who use rental assistance.
Act 310 will prohibit certain landlords from discriminating against prospective and current tenants based on participation in Permanent Supportive Housing programs or any Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program.
