An important part of the State’s approach to homelessness is public engagement and education. The “Road to Home” is a monthly radio segment with radio host Rick Hamada that features guests from the State, City and County of Honolulu, and a service provider to share information about homelessness in Hawai’i.

This month Rick Hamada hosts Scott Morishige, Marc Alexander and special guests Gavin Thornton and Marya Grambs to discuss key legislation from the 2019 legislative session.

Listen as the panel discusses legislation regarding homelessness, mental health, enforcement and community engagement. And please tune in on the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00 a.m. to KHVH 830 AM Radio to listen for regular updates from State, City, and the community.

Episode Forty One (May 1, 2019) – Guests: Scott Morishige (State), Marc Alexander (City & County of Honolulu), Gavin Thornton (Hawaii Appleseed Center for Law and Economic Justice) and Marya Grambs (Partners In Care).
