HOMELESS OUTREACH PROGRAMS

Posted on Jun 29, 2020 in Main

Homeless outreach programs connect with unsheltered individuals and families, and provide linkages to critical services – including housing navigation, shelter, assistance with obtaining identification documents and other vital records, assistance with employment and public benefits, and connection to healthcare services. Homeless outreach programs also serve as an access point for the Coordinated Entry System (CES) for housing resources. The Hawai’i Department of Human Services (DHS) and Hawai’i Department of Health (DOH) administer contracts with the following organizations to provide homeless outreach services.
